Vajrakilaya is one of the favourite Tantric archetype deity of Nyingma order. It helps to remove obstructions for elightenment. He is symbol of wisdom and concentration. This deity has three heads, six arms & four legs. One of the highest tantric teachings in the Buddhist tradition, Vajrakilaya is the manifestation of all of the Buddha’s activities in a wrathful form. The practice of Vajrakilaya is an essential method to dispel many obstacles that arise to block spiritual progress and cutting through negative mental states and conceptual thinking. He is known as the ‘obstacle remover par excellence’, and is one of the most popular meditational deities in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
Vajrakilaya is commonly depicted with three faces, each carrying profound symbolism. The central wrathful face signifies the eradication of ignorance, the left face embodies compassion, and the right face symbolizes wisdom.
